In 1938. With the efforts of education enthusiasts and socially conscious individuals of the area, this school was established. Baishnabnagar High school (H.S) is located in the village of Baishnabnagar under Kaliachak- 3 block of Malda District. The school is recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Presently, it is a Higher Secondary School. Education is imparted from class V to class XII. Both Arts and Science Streams are available in H.S section. The school is co-educational (both boys and girls). Besides academic education, students are involved in various co-curricular and social activities. Vocational courses are also running in the school.
